Production Logo: Ideas

Ella and I decided to make a list of themes we wanted our logo for our production company to be in connection with before we began accumulating ideas. These themes all seemed appropriate for the essence of our production company as we want the company to be an independent/ art house production company with urban roots. Our list of themes is as follows:


- City Based
- Grunge
- Alternative
- Youth


From this we came up with the idea that the primary aspect of our logo should be a cigarette packet as it attained all of the connotations. However, we didn't want our logo to be a still image as we wanted our independent production company to still have a reputable and smart design. This is when we decided that we should make our logo into a short clip or gif to incorporate into the beginning of our film trailer. We began looking at the image of the cigarette packet that we chose and decided that the strip running across the centre of the packet should be edited so that it created the effect of it shining.
